-I did a little bit of work.
-Since today is Tuesday. And its New Release Day I brought the uncut version of American Psycho on dvd. Hopefully I'll watch that sometime this week.
-Before I got the dvd I saw a few Batman the animated series shows and a couple of Friends.
- What I also got and have been listening to since i got it is Dropkick Murphy's "The Warrior's Code".
That cd is too fucking good. Its one of their best. Can't wait to see them at warped.

Batman Begins....Best fucking batman flick ever. Nolan did a great job directing it and co-writing it. Fuck the Burton version. That one was good. But Begins is way better.

Now on "The Bright" I started to revise. I have some good news on it. Soon, the everything will be set for next summer. I can't wait.

I think soon I'm going to try to post daily, shoot some more videoblogs and update things about "The Bright". The daily posts will just be random thoughts I had, dvds i watches, movies i saw at the theatre and who i hung out with. Hopefully I can do it.

sorry for the lack of blogging. here's whats been going on. i shot a videoblog. hopefully that will be up in the next week. i'm teaching somebody how to edit and using that as a tool. Since I've been home, I've been doing various types of jobs so I've been busy. On my off time Ive been hanging out with friends and watching dvds.

So today I'm going to start the next revision of "The Bright". I'm enjoying what I have been writing, and next summer the production will begin.

It's been really fun being back in San Antonio. Since the time I've been here, I have som many new ideas for "The Bright" and other ideas for other films. I have a lot to write. Should be fun.

I'm 100 pages into my third revision. I think tomorrow I'll be done. Then hopefully between stidying and trying to clean, I'll finish it. This revision, so far I'm taking out some lines and a few pages.

But on the fourth draft, I'll take ouu alot of pages. I think close to 50. Like I said, I have a few ways of doing this. I was trying to do this on the third draft, but I'm thinking about it. Hopefully this draft will be done before Wednesday.

The Third Revsion

So I got back into the third revision of "The Bright". I already got some ideas on how to make it shorter but still keep the things that I want to keep. I think. Hopefully I did. Hopefully I'll finish the revision by Sunday Night. HOPEFULLY. I Also need to study for my Art History Final on Wednesday. But other than that, "The Bright" contunues on.

I don't want to run to my future, but I sure want to run from my past.

Tonight, I saw the great Reverend Horton Heat at the Middle East. The show was sold out. Fucking amazing show. Possibly one of the greater shows I've been to from his. At one point, he switched his guitar to a one of his older gibson ones and played a swing set. They played Spend the night in the box. Amazing song. Amazing show.

I got myself a new Reverend Workshirt.

There's a certain way that I got to be, like Cool Hand Luke, I'm shaking it there, boss she calls, and I'm all ears.

So this weekend, I gots some work to do. I have class tomorrow and I think I'm working on something that involves my small film. And I think I'm also getting together my portfolio for that class.

I also have a few drawings I need to do. Also revise an essay.

I'll find time to work on a revision of "The Bright". Hopefully an edit will begin on "Portrait" (working title for the neverending film, you guys saw the 1st cut)

Also, I'll try to to take some pictures to post. Also need to post on alittlebitriot. That blog is really going to be fun to work. Especially when I get home and the three of us can do some videoblogs together.

yeah, so I think i am going to change the name to "The Bright" Atleast for now. As I see it, the title can go either way. This is probably going to be that one thing we discuss till it's done with the final edit of the film.

By the way, Jaime signed on back as the character Pub. So we have the three main guys cast. Just need to find the girls.

So my class reviewd that small film of the 1st cut. Honesty, I don't have a name for it right now.
The reviews were good. People really enjoyed it. I think some were also surprised on what I can do using a camera. I found surprising that one of the things that a few people didn't like was the cursing. Some people told me about the audio but I'm working on that. Hopefully soon, I'll post the second cut. (I gots papers to write)

On the script, I'm thinking about changing the name to "The Bright". And just drop "the old school off". I'm thinking about. Maybe the name will be changed just for the third draft. I'm not sure.

wow, I've been busy. i have started a new draft of "The bright" but kinda got pushed for one of my projects for school. hopefully i'll have that posted by the end of this week or the start of next week.

I talked to a few people about the script, they seem to like it. I'm pretty happy with some of the feedback so far.

I'll be back home in around the next five weeks. I'll get to see and hang out with everybody. Start having more conversations about "the bright" maybe some meetings. Hopefully I can help out as much I can with "Peggy's Sucicide". Joe, my brother, is doing some great things with his film.

I know i shouldn't think of this right now, but I know what my next film is going to be after I'm done with "The Old School Off the Bright." I haven't written a thing, but I have a kickass start for it. Maybe while revisioning "the bright" I'll write a few pages. And whatever I take out of that script, I'll put it into this script. Of curse, this movie will be somehwere in the next 4 to 5 years.

I think I'm going to see Sin City again. That movie was badass.

The second draft is done. It came out to 174 pages. I'm relaxing right now. So probably on Saturday, my third draft will start. Hopefully I'll get some feedback, from the people I sent it to.

Also, hopefully next week a new video blog will appear. I just need to get some more ideas across.

okay, i wish natalie portman and clive owen won an oscar. Closer was fucking brillaint. But Clint EastWood is a badass.

I saw Street Dogs and Social Distortion on wednesday. Fantastic show. I am seeing Flogging Molly this wednsday. Can't wait for that.

"Peggy Suicide" is a brilliant script from what I've read. I give my brother props on all his deals.

"The Bright" is coming along. On page 140. In my mind it's almost done. It's going to be fun. I know everybody is going to dig it. If they don't, fuck them. It's fun writing it.

As of now Jaime dropped out as Pub. But I have some ideas for that. Ken is still on the project. I think Max is too. But I will need some more actors and actresses than I thought. Hopefully at Flogging Molly I'll talk to Joe Gittleman about a few things if hes there and if I see him.

www.johngraciano.com is almost ready. Dennis is doing that as a huge favor for me. Happy Bday to him. Can't wait to put up some vlogs about me and being on the streets of Boston.

On a side note, my mind has been traveling. I don't know where I am. Ive been out of it. Hopefully I'll find me. This post makes it seem like I got my shit together. Sometimes I do, Sometimes I don't.

Well, I wrote a few more pages on my script. I'm going to continue writing in a bit.

I shot my first short vlog. Hopefully that would be up soon. I have a few more ideas on what to shoot so look for those in the next coming weeks. Hopefully another one will be up next week.

"The Bright" update - as of now i broke the 120 barrier. Hopefully I can write a few more pages today and tonight. I was talking to Jaime about it and he seems to enjoy what I've been writing.

I just know after this draft is done, I'll be spending hours on the phone with people revising it. Hopefully you'll guys will like it. Hopefully people will like it. I talked to Joe G from Avoid One Thing and bassist from MMB, and he seems to like the idea. Of course I didn't go into detail with him on it.

At this point don't really know how long the script is going to be. I'm taking Verdi's advice to write and write. And I'll probably end up with like 20,000 revisions on this script. Sides I've been writing this since junior year.

Yeah i call it the second draft. but in all honesty its like draft 15,5630. I'll keep you guys updated.

The Old School Off the Bright

Probably about another 50 pages and the script should be done. On page 109. This will be the only big rewrite. After this draft, there should only be rewritng some scenes.

There was a huge difference between the 1st and 2nd draft. It's way fucking better.
